She oversees operations of the company's Logistics Center in Denver, CO.  Her responsibilities primarily are to support the Navis Pack & Ship brand as it relates to operations, training and technical support; however, her reach also extends into integrating the freight function within all brands of the Company.

Canup, the Executive Director of Compliance, has been with Annex Brands since 1993, having started in an administrative capacity and eventually rising to the position of Executive Director.  In 2005, she was promoted to Director of Compliance and in November, 2012 was promoted to her current position of Executive Director. Her duties include ensuring the Company's compliance with franchise investment laws, managing franchise registration renewals and updates, and coordinating franchise resale transactions.

“We are very proud of Diane and Mary Ann,” said Steve Goble, Vice President of Marketing Communications.  “Expanding our knowledge and understanding of franchising keeps us at the forefront of our industry, and through Diane and Mary Ann’s hard work, we can continue to provide our franchise system with the best possible resources.”

Nearly 1,500 franchise executives are now enrolled or have received certification.  More than 300 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program that provides benefits such as specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking and professional standing.

Candidates are required to complete a rigorous course of study to earn the CFE designation, which includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops.  The program enhances franchise professionals’ understanding of the industry’s fundamental and complex aspects.
